Welcome to the Latter-Day Woman Blog

A very warm welcome to the new Latter-Day Woman™ and especially this Latter-Day Woman Blog.

This has been a work in progress over the last couple of years. Many months of ups and downs until it came closer to the vision I have had since its beginning. It has been a journey of learning and discovery and guiding me to a greater understanding of how to listen to the whisperings of the spirit and direction of a loving Heavenly Father. Even in those times when I wanted to do it a certain way (my way), He gently would steer me back on the right course. I have seen and felt His hand in all of this and I am truly grateful for answered prayers. Life is so different when you finally ‘get it’ and gain a better sense of how to work in partnership with our Father.

I invite you to browse through our new web site and see the many services and programs to connect, enrich and inspire LDS women around the world. The blog will keep you up to date with everything going on in Latter-Day Woman™. Feel free to leave your comments, thoughts and ideas as this is your place to truly find the Spirit of You™.

Words cannot express the feelings I have seeing so many women join from other countries. Our magazine is now being read in 70 countries. Having been born and raised in the United Kingdom, I am thrilled to see so many from my homeland join, a few that I know but many that I do not…….yet! It is also exciting to see the vast age differences knowing nothing separates us as women, especially when we know we are all daughters of a loving Heavenly Father. Also, what fulfillment abounds seeing so many women seeking the gospel join us and become members simply by feeling the love we all share here.

We all need a place to be ourselves and know that all who join us in this quest do so with love, patience, tolerance, understanding and support. As we connect and come to know each other we will be amazed at how similar our paths are. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here, for helping this dream come to life…the beginning of special things to come – I can feel it.
